i checked for seat availability in train no12620 in sleeper class on indian railways website for last week of april. It says WL 137/WL 102 on 28th april, i know that wt means waiting list. i just want to know how to read WL 137/WL 102. what does that mean. Does it mean 137 people waiting? if u know plz explain me in detail

It means when you booked the tickets your name was on 137th position but now its on 102nd.



137 will remain constant and 102 will come down day by day. Don't worry your seats will be confirmed by the time of journey.

It means when you booked ticket its on WL 137 & now at WL 102. You can check updated seat availability by checking IRCTC PNR Status.

it shows in simple words that total waiting list was 137 & when you got reservation it has slide down to 102. Actually your waiting list number is 102.
