Okay so having some really annoying problems trying to sort out train tickets from Brentwood Station to Custom House!!
Every train ticket website I've been on doesn't list Custom House and when I type it in for the "to" part of the thing it ends up saying "An invalid station has been entered".
How do I get tickets to get to Custom House?!?!

Most railway ticketing websites only cover National Rail stations, not London Underground or DLR stations like Custom House. A one day travel card may be a bit of an extravagance as you're not travelling far on LU/DLR. Buy a ticket from Brentwood to Stratford (from £7.40 return) then switch to the DLR station - if you have an Oyster card then it's £1.40 off-peak single, but £4.30 if you're paying cash.

Just buy the ticket from the ticket office at Brentwood before you board your train. There is no saving to be made by booking in advance for this journey. As well as a day return to Custom House, if you are travellimg after 09-30am weekdays or anytime weekends, you have the option to buy a One Day Off Peak Travelcard, the price of which includes your return rail journey to Stratford and unlimited travel for the day on the London Underground, Docklands Light Railway, London buses and suburban rail.

You can buy a Super Off Peak ticket with a London travel card option for £12.50 which is £4.10 more than a Super Off Peak ticket to Liverpool Street only. this seems to be you best bet. As others have said, Customs House will not appear on National Rail ticket buying sites as it is a Transport for London station.

Don't know what website you've been using, but I always find National Rail Enquiries:- www/nationalrail.co.uk - is by far the easiest to use. I've had no trouble in quickly finding out that the single fare is £ 8.20 for the direct journey changing at Stratford. There is the option of a slightly shorter journey time by travelling in the opposite direction to Shenfield first and changing to a fast train to Stratford - this costs £ 8.90

precise, so that you'll likely favor to hit upon a custom direction than leads to London Waterloo. Take the Jubilee Line to Canning city, then change to the DLR (Docklands mild Railway). Get off at custom abode, its an really short walk to the ExCel centre, basically in the course of the bridge. follow the cosplayers in case you get wondered (:
