It is quite difficult to see AC rakes run in the already congested local route of Mumbai unless existing ones get AC coaches. Recent talks suggest plans to introduce AC rakes at premium rates, but the rowdy public of Mumbai won't let them last for long. If they are properly policed and sensibly maintained, we might as well have a few AC coaches on some trains during peak hours. That would be a nice, feasible solution acceptable to most commuters. There is a good chance we might get to see AC coaches in Mumbai soon. Happy travelling till then!

dnt think so the local trains in mumbai r not in proper conditions and u can think abt the ac compartments wat will their conditions be when they will come in existence in mumbai.
